When you brush with SHY-NM, this is what happens:

Ingredients
CSPS (active ingredient in SHY-NM) comes into contact with saliva
pH elevation
When SHY-NM reacts with saliva, Na+ ions are released, elevating the pH into the range essential for HCA (Hydroxycarbonateapatite) formation.
Mineral release
Minerals like Ca2+ and P5+ ions are released from CSPS to form calcium-phosphate layer.
HCA
Crystal formation
The calcium-phosphate layer crystallises into HCA and seals the opened dentinal tubules. This HCA layer is chemically and structurally similar to the layer found in tooth enamel.
This layer provides long-lasting protection of the tooth from wearing away and
subsequent pain.
